Emails with Apostrophe won't sync results back to ACT

Hi. Using the new "Marketing Automation". Any email address with an apostrophe will not sync back to ACT. Under the admin screen "CRM - ACT History Sync" I can see that I have tons of 'pending' results that will never sync back to ACT. The apostrophes are valid. Actions Delivered, Opened, Click none of them sync.
