Why does Act's eMarketing template editor break URLs that contain any capitalized letters? I frequently need to instert URLs that contain caps only to have them lead no where but an error page. I don't control the URLs I'm inserting, so have no power to change them to lowercase letters.
Would using a service like bit.ly resolve this? Is anyone else having this problem? Will we have to wait for a dev team to resovle?
I need answers! Everywhere I turn there are more issues that crop up with this product!!!!! We just want a functional emarketing service!!!!!
HELP!!!!!

dimstersf,
Thank you for submitting your post. I am having the Emarketing Team looking into this issue. Currently we are tracking an issue with Act Emarketing and the template editor. I will respond to your post when this issue is resolved.

Hi dimstersf,
it is not a fix for this but capital letters are irrelevant in any URL.
http://www.google.co.uk or HTTP://WWW.GOOGLE.CO.UK both work as they would with any site. I can't think of any URL that needs capital letters. Could you give us an example?

@dimstersf I've just tested this with the following URL and it worked fine after sending a test campaign: http://bit.ly/1bdDlXc
Are you still experiencing the issue. If you have an exmaple URL that is breaking, please post it, or PM to me if private.
@john_f Uppercase characters can be interpreted differently depending on the webserver's configuration. In your example, it didn't matter, but in my bit.ly link, the upper case and lowercase variants are completely different. Try them out and see:
