Computers can't access Shared Database

I'm running ACT! by Sage 2010 Version 12.0.409.0, Hotfix 3.  Earlier this morning, everything was running fine and everyone could access the shared database from the server.  Right now, everyone can still access all shared drives and everything else from the server, but can't open ACT.  The error message says:  "The database TCS4 could not be accessed.  In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available.  It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your compuer or the server."  I tried renaming the PAD file in hopes that when I launched via the ADF file, it would recreate.  Didn't happen.  I got a message that said it couldn't find the previously opened database.  Not sure what to do next.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Computers can't access Shared Database

I just noticed your post. I did not even know this board was here!

That being said, please post this request under one the above Boards

If the issue is for ACT Pro, then use ACT Board

If the issue is ACT Premium, use the ACT Premium Board.

Lastly, state the version of Windows, the Version of ACT (find that by opening ACT, clicking Help (top menu), then About ACT. Write down exact version number and include in your post.

Good luck!
