I have ACT 2009 on my desktop and I remote sync from my laptop. My desktop has version 18.104.22.168 Hotfix 1
My laptop has versions22.214.171.1247
The versions are not the same. So whick downloads do I need to do. I only see hotfix 4 on the download site. Need help.

Do you have the Standard or Premium version of ACT! 2009? On your laptop, you need to install Service Pack 1 to update it to version 11.1.183. To do this, make sure your laptop is connected to the Internet, then in ACT! go to Help > ACT! Update. Then just follow the prompts to apply the update. If this does not work, then here are the download links for the service pack for both the standard and Premium versions (whichever you have installed):
On both machines (after you update to SP1 on the laptop), I would also advise applying the latest cumulative hot fix for version 11.1.183. Details are in this Knowledgebase article:
