v5 or v6 together with v15 or v16

Hi,

I remember somehow it is possible to install a version of the newly programmed Act! on the same pc as one of the proprietary ones. Think I read that years ago. Anyone to confirm (or not) this? Of course for different databases and maps etc.

TIA

Sjors

Yes Sjors, you can leave Act! v5 or v6 on your PC and install Act! v15/v16 without any problems.

Re: v5 or v6 together with v15 or v16

David, there are problems when v6 and v16 are together on 1 computer I noticed.

The Outlook connection gets disturbed!

The Act toolbar for Outlook (2013, but others probably too) is missing most icons like quick attach.

Send e-mail through Act by Outlook is not registered in Act.

In this network I'm referring too are 2 pc's with Old Act and v16 that have these problems.

The other pc's with only v16 are ACTing as planned.

Already sent this behavior to the UK-helpdesk, hope they can help me out.

Cheers,

Sjors
