Upgraded to v21 last week and installed v21 update 1.
Now every time I open an opportunity, I get an error:
"One or more errors have been detected. Place your mouse on the red error indicator(s) to display the error message(s)."
When I click OK, the opportunity detail view loads and the same error message dialog opens (again).
Red exclamation indicators show up next to 'Open Date" and Est. Close Date' fields. These fields appear to be empty, but when I click on each one, the respective date instantly populates, and I am able to continue working. Sometimes, however, the dates do NOT automatically repopulate and since I cannot close this opportunity while either of these fields are blank, I am stuck doing some time-sucking research to try to get the correct dates re-entered.
Anyone else seen this behavior? Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have seen that if you have Act! preference set to open each view in its own window.
Try deselecting this option
Tools > Preferences > uncheck Open each view in its own Window
