Hi all. Longtime ACT! user, currently using v2009 running on a single-machine WIN7-32. My situation is changing, and I'll need to access the same db from two (maybe even 3 if possible) locations, from different computers. Can I do this with Pro?
I need to find the least-cost method to implement this.
I've looked at Pemium, and the mobile option alone would not justify the cost. Only would if it was needed to accomplish above.
Thanks in advance for any information. Could not answer this seemingly-simple question online.

ACT! Pro is networkable, so accessing your database from 3 different computers will work. See the following ACT! Knowledge Base article on how to do this:

Do all of these computers connected to the same network. If not, you will likely need to use the ACT! Synchronization functionality. See the attached ACT! Knowledge Base articles on how to do this:

Regarding mobile access to your ACT! data, you can go with ACT! Connect subscription (see http://www.act.com/products/mobility/act-connect/) which has an annual subscription cost or just sync your phone with ACT! via a wired sync option like Companionlink (see http://www.companionlink.com) which has a one-time cost of the Companionlink software.

Steve,
As an Act! Consultant and familiar with customers need to economise, given the expense of Act!, I suggest if all your users are in the one office you could purchase a large wall mounted LCD screen and even more then 3 users could see Act!
