user field labeling for contact reports

When I print contact reports, under "user fields" all the data is there, but the labels still say "User 1, User 2, User 3" etc.

I've poked around the menu options, including layouts and "define fields" and I can't seem to find where I can change these from "User 1" to say, "spouse" or "spouse Date of Birth"

Anyone know how to do this?

You would need to edit the report template.
