the connection broke

I had access to my server database through the modem wirelessly.  Now suddenly, I am working in a full database, but it turned out not to be connected anymore to the server.  No errors.  I went in and deleted the PAD file on the remote laptop, then attempted to open the database on the server, but I cannot see the ADF file on it.  Plenty of documents and PAD files, but no ADF.

 

What gives?

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community!

 

When attempting to open a database using the ADF, you will need to change the 'Files of Type' selection from PAD to ADF.  You will then be able to see the ADF file(s).

 

'Files of Type' will be at the bottom of the dialog box (next to the Open and Cancel buttons).
