I have recently begun receiving an error in Act 2008 (10.0), when attempting to search by company name or contact, identical to what is found in Answer ID 14539. I followed the instructions to fix this problem but more problems came up. First, I use Windows 7 so the files I need to find were actually located in AppData\Roaming\IsolatedStorage etc. Second, when I opened the 'Files" file it did not contain the '.history' files I need to rename - it contained only one file called 'preferences.xml'. I have completed a search of my entire system and the .history files do not seem to exist. Any suggestions?

Wish I could be more helpful but I'm afraid I don't have any experience with Act 2008.
It's worth noting that this version of Act is not listed as being compatible with Windows 7.
