syncing new ipod with ACT

I received a new ipod for Christmas and would like to sync it with ACT v10.  I found the Outlook integration in ACT which allows me to sync the calendar but doesn't have anything for the contacts.  I can export contacts from ACT, then import them into Outlook but it's a lot of hoops to jump through on a daily or weekly basis.  Are there any solutions out there I'm not aware of or any better ideas then what I found so far?

Re: syncing new ipod with ACT

PDAs and phones usually have the ability to sync with Outlook Contacts and Calendars but won't sync directly with ACT (unless they run on Windows Mobile or Palm operatins systems). You can get add-on products that can synchronise your ACT contacts to Outlook and then sync Outlook with your iPhone, which is OK if you actually want your ACT contacts in Outlook, but if not I would hang on a few weeks and buy Handheld Contact, which is an add on that will be able to sync your ACT! contacts and calendar directly to your iPhone.

Handheld Contact will have an iPhone version soon (probably in Feb). You can join a mailing list to be notified at:

They've said they'll look at a port for the iPod touch once it's released.
