Re: synch and linking to sage accounts

There are a couple of third-party applications that can sync your Blackberry to ACT!, although I am not sure if they are supported in the UK. They are CompanionLink and Handheld Contact.

For information on finding out if there is link available for ACT! and Instant Accounts, you will need to contact Instant Accounts. I located a UK number for them on the following web page. If you are already an IA customer, you may already have contact information for them:

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

The software to link ACT! to Sage Instant Accounts or Sage 50 Accounts is available free of charge from Sage UK. Just give them a call and they will send you the CD.

[ Edited ]

thanks guys, I got it sorted.

On the link wizard, I kept getting invalid path.

I had to open instant accounts program, go to:

help, about, system information, directories, copy the address of the data directory and enter this as the path.

Then just follow the wizard.

Thanks for info on third party synch progs Greig I'll take a look.

Many thanks guys.
