sorting documents and attaching to act contacts [ Edited ]

hi

just wondering in act 10.01.199

under the documents tab

date header

does it sort the dates in order

it does seem to group the similar documents together and flip them

when you click on it -but doesnt seem to sort the dates

secondly

if I get an email using ms outlook 2003 sp3

with an attachment

can I send the attachment to the relavant act contact

as soon as i open the email

is it possible

No, this tab doesn't sort... I agree it should. You should add a feature request. You might post a request for this feature to be considered for a future version here - http://www.act.com/community/feature

Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on.

You can attach the entire email as an attachment to History, but not the attached file to documents.

If it's Word/Excel, you can also attach to a contact from the ACT! icon... but not other file types
