When I create a .tpl file in the Act word processor, and then do a mail merge in Outlook with that file, there are no margins at the edges of the email window. The text just butts right up against however large I make the email window. If I create an email from within Outlook itself, there is about a 1/4" margin of white space, at least on the left side of the screen, which looks much better.
Is there a way to create the margin within the Act Word processor to allow this? When I create the document in Act there is a substantial margin shown then, it just doesn't get passed to Outlook when I do a mail merge.

Does the same thing happen when you use a Microsoft Word template (.adt)? If you have MS Word installed, I advise that you use that instead of the ACT! Word Processor for your ACT! templates.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

I have the exact same problem and use Openoffice rather than Word, so making the Word template is not an option.
Any other ideas?
BTW: It sure would ne nice if Act worked with open source programs like Openoffice and Mozilla email products!
