I'm always having problesm with loggin into act from a shared database main computer to another. Please help me understand why this keeps happening. Main routine every morning is to turn on main computer with the database, then log in on another computer that I share the databse. Some times in works, other times it doesn't, but mostly more than less.

This is most likely due to the 'SQL Server (ACT7)' service not starting when you turn on the main computer. Here is an article with instructions to check the service: KB Article 28216
