I upgraded our ACT 2010 server from XP to Windows 7 - restored the original ACT data - but now, all the remote DB can not sync-the error is "Syncronization has failed . Server error Description: Remote database is unavailable. Please check if the remote database was deleted......" I believe that is because they are no longer listed in the Manage Database section of the Sync panel.- based on the ACT KB article # 27887 - is that correct?
1) Is there any way to restore these to the Manage database section without creating new remote databases?
2) If not - the remote databases have a large amount of unsynced data so they need to be exported to the Publisher database, however, they are standard users and don't have that option - and because they can't sync I can't change their levels. So, if I create new Remote DB with all users as managers will they be able to export from thier old DB to the new ones?

You could have them sync their old remotes to their new remotes to get them current? Just guessing. Hope that helps - cheers - FSB
