I have recently installed Act 2013 Pro on a new desktop and on a laptop. The database on the desktop is working fine. I have backed up the desktop database to a thumb drive but can not restore it to the laptop. When using "restore as", I get "cannot open backup device" "operating system error 5(access denies)" I have used other versions of Act on a desktop and restored those data bases to the laptop I am currently having the difficulty with. Can anyone help?
