"You cannot change the notes or histories for [contact]" error in HotSync Log for Palm Link for Act, 2007
Hello All,
I am reaching out to you as my search of the Knowledge Base and search of existing Forum resources is spent. I am having trouble adding notes in Palm and having them sync back to Act. If it is a net new contact I create in the Palm or an existing contact that have previously been sync’ed but has no notes, I seem to be allowed to add notes. But, when I attempt to create notes in the Palm for sync’ed records that have notes, I have problems.
Obviously, I would like to capture notes on my Palm when I am in the field and then have it sync back consistently. Is there a trick for this?
Knowledge Base articles I have read say that the Palm OS is limited to allowing entry at the beginning (Top) of the Notes entry.
Any help or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
