"Font" Toolbar

I've "lost" the toolbar for Fonts, etc. ...  how do I get it back?

In what area of the program do you expect to see this tool bar, but it does not display? i.e. When entering a new note.

Location?  Yes when I'm composing a Note.

Can you please confirm that your Display setting in windows is set to 100%.
Please can you also test in another database i.e. the demo database, if the issue occurs there too?

Gary,

 

I don't know how to check/set Windows to 100%.

I went to Open Database to try out "Demo" ... selected the only one that appeared appropriate and got error message "Could not find a database called Act11Demo on host Bob-PC"

Can you create a new database, add a new contact and test if the issue also occurs in there?

Please also let us know what version of Act you are running and what version of Windows you have.

Hi Gary,

 

I created a test db with one record ... went to Notes and it also did not have a "font toolbar. to use.

 

What if I re-load the ACT software? ... and see what happens?

 

My Windows is Internet explorer, version 11.0.27.

 

The link on display settings seemed to be about DPI settings.

Hi Bob,

Yes the article references the DPI setting which may be set to a level that causes this font tool bar not to appear.

Please follow the steps listed for your version of Windows and let us know if anything changes.

I came to realize that my problem wasn’t technical, but my stupidity ,,, I’d tell you more, but it is too embarrassing.

 

I’m 73 and sometimes my brain mis-functions.
