"Client" category has disappeared! ACT! 2008 (10.0) Meeting Report

I used to be able to run meeting reports by going to Lookup/Id Status and picking "Client" from the drop-down menu.  I cannot find "Client" anymore in the drop down menu.  Instead it lists "Business Associates" then "Customer" a double line, then "Business Associates" again and then "Cold Lead".  Client is nowhere to be found!  I must have this report ASAP - Please help!!

Re: "Client" category has disappeared! ACT! 2008 (10.0) Meeting Report

It's very easy to add Client back to the drop down menu.  And you don't need the value of the vield to be in the dropdown to run the report, just right click on the ID/Status filed, type in Client and that should return your lookup.

What concernes me is what happened to the value.  Here are some possibilities.

1) someone else changed it.

2) you may be in the wrong database

3) database needs maintenance

4) accidental change of the value through edit/replace

Without seeing your database, it's hard to know if any of these are the problem.  Like I said if it's just the drop down, you can just re add.

Finally, in reading your post, you mentioned that Client was above the double line.  the items that are above the double line are not fixed. they are the few most recently used.  Once you search for client again, it should (may) show up there.

I hope this helps.

Do your search first.  Lookup, ID/status- client

this will give you a subset of your database.

When you run your report, make sure and run it against the current lookup (your subset)
