See if the suggested solution offered in KB Article 14372 helps to resolve the issue.

hello, i am unable to send email

 

goes to the outbox.  tried, and tried and tried,  no luck.

 

i can receive but not send via act 2011, 

 

microsoft live works fine, the settings are as you said. 

 

godaddy works fine,  can send and receive, but

 

the port settings are the right ones, 

 

i cannot send via the act 2011 email. 

 

please help please help

Greg, did you get this message?  i am still having problems, should I re-install ACT 2011? 

 

eveything else has been tried.

 

the port settings are 25 and 110 , just like the godaddy settings and windows live mail. 

 

i can receive but not send.  for the send emails remain in the outbox, until I delete them.

i am using the pop and smtp

 

i spoke with godaddy, '

 

and spoke with time warner  the isp provider,  ut us tge 25 and 110 port settings. 

 

still no luck, i installed the act on another computer, the same problem,  can not send

 

i can receive email, but the test mail says i can not send or receive. 

 

why is this so complicated?

Hello, thank you for your help.

 

i am beyond frustrated.  have spent hours, upon hours, trying to figure out how to send email thru internet mail via act.

 

i have reset reset and reset/  still no luck.

 

the port settings are 25 and 110 with godaddy. 

 

my internet service provider, is timewarner.  roadrunner, and the settings are 110 and 25. 

 

i sent test email,  and the message says failed, unable to connect, unable to send or receive, however, the act! email receives the email.  even though the test say it does not receive.

 

i read in detail the instructions for setting up the inernet mail.  and would appreciate insight  for this problem. 

 

As I said, I  have been an Act customer for 15 years, and never never had this issue.

hello, still having problems sending email.

tried everything  added email addresses from godaddy, and roadrunner (time warner)

check the settings, identical with the requirements,  and ports were 25 and 110. 

 

the emails are web based, i can check them anywhere, unfortunately, can send with act interenet mail.

difficulty in setting up email on Act! 2011, unable to send messages

hello, I use godaddy for email.

 

and set up the way i read the message to be set up.

 

however, when i send from act  the message reads "could not conect to smtpout.secureserver.net

 

I can receive messages, but when i test the connection (under ":advanced") the message says failed.

 

please help.
