we have a small busniess with three networked computers the install went fine a two of them but on the thrid one when the computer first logs into windows a message comes up that says registry access is not allowed. i closethe dialogue box and attempt to open act and the same message appears does any one have any ideas about this issue.

Take a backup of the registry first by following the act kb article "How to Back Up the Registry on a Windows Operating System", then try giving permission for "Everyone" or atleast for that windows user that is having the issue to the following keys in the registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft" and "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Security", then see if you are able launch act.
If we could know the OS of the machine that is having the issue it would be helpful.
