I looked over the other posts and did not see anything on this. Any chance of preventing ACT from recording field changes in the history till I am DONE with contact rather then when I leave the field? Hopefully, someone will understand this, as it changes and saves it as soon as I live the field.

What version of Act! is it that you're using? By design, the program only updates the history when the contact is saved, when you leave the contact, or when you refresh the screen. If you try this in the demo, do you get the same results?

Have ACT Pro 2012. I tried the demo and did the same thing (made changes to an account) and no, I did not get the same results, the changes were saved in the history only after leaving the contact or refresh. Any chance you know of a setting I may have changed?

There is not a setting for changing this. This seems like a database specific issue since the demo did not produce the same results.
What version of Windows are you on? Do you have any third-party add-ons for Act!? If so, try disabling them and see if it happens for your database after that.
