have act 2005 on our server, need to get into program to backup database.  i have the product serial but not activation. any ideas?

Hello,

 

I am not sure if this is the correct way/place to post, but here goes.

 

This thread is somewhat the same topic as my issue.

 

My not so old computer crashed: I downloaded ACTPro 2013 onto my new computer.

 

I tried to obtain the activation code to complete the registration process, but ACT is now Swiftpage.  So any attempt to get an activation code is futile.  

 

I called support and was told that my version of ACT (which we purchased) will not work well with Windows 10 (which I have been using with Windows 10 with no problem).  They tell me It is 'glitchy'.

 

I cannot get an activation code, I need to upgrade to a newer version.  I will only have a 30 day trial to use this version.

 

I really want to continue working with this version until it no longer works with Windows 10.  Then we will upgrade as needed.

 

Can you tell me how to go about getting an activation code for a program we already own?  

 

I only have this month to continue using ACTPro 2013.  Then I will be 'ACTless'.
