We had a custom tab made for us that appears on the main group page. We are in the process of upgrading our computers and when we reinstall ACT the custom tab is no longer there. Anyone know where I can go to find it and get it restored? TIA

You should be able to fix that in Tools | Design Layout | Contacts
Then click on Edit | Tabs
You should then see a selection list of the tabs to show.

This may be a stupid question, but do you have administrative priviledges to change the layout?

What version of Windows are you using? What is the UAC setting? Is the Windows firewall turned on?

The User Access Control. It's in the control panel but the location varies with different systems. Try a Google search for specific information.
In the lean time try starting the ACT! program by right clicking on the desktop icon and selecting Run as Administrator.

When I changed my monitor resolution to a lower setting, I lost my custom tab (even though there was plenty of blank area to the right of the last tab). I have to have my resolution set to at least 1360 pixels wide for the custom tab to show up.
