manually creating sql instance on sbs2003

hi

just wondering when are installing sql 2005 manually on a windows 2003 sbs server

and the user name and password which has to be entered is "sage"

obviously it conflicts the domain policy for the complexity of password

is there any way to get around this without changing the domain policy

does it create any porblem if a complex password is given other than sage

thanks in advance

Its no problem, put whatever password you like in.  When you insert CD1 it will prompt for the password you set.

Re: installing act on sbs 2003 server

Are you 100% sure the SQL Service (ACT7) is running?
When you run actdiag (Start -> Run -> Actdiag) you will get a message about could not connect to SQL instance.  Continue that and on the left in actdiag click Databases -> Database List, you should get some errors.  Post back the messages here.
