I was correcting something in my Act 2009 database Contact layout and lost a field without knowing it. When I saved the changes, the field and all the data in it has disappeared from the Contact record. Is there a way to get it back?
I still have this field and its data in my Android device. Also, I use Carbonite for backup. Any ideas?

If you were working with the layout designer, it is most likely that you simply removed the field from the layout - not the database. You can verify if the field still exists (with data) through the Contact List view. On the Contact List view, customize the columns displayed by selecting View > Customize columns > add the field to the right hand column and click OK.
If it still exists, you will just need to re-add the field to the layout (Tools > Design Layout > Contact).
