Re: locked out

Hi Greig,

I have tried this over and over and still no luck.  Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Re: locked out

Is this database local to your machine or shared?

Re: locked out

It is local to my machine.  I have tried to stop the SQL server but that is grayed out so I can't even select that.  I have tried the Windows Command Script for the Single User Error but nothing ever happens.

Thanks

Re: locked out

OK. What operating system are you using? And just to confirm, this is only happening with 1 database?

Re: locked out

I have Windows 7 Professional.  Yes, I am able to access another database and also create new ones.

Thanks

Re: locked out

You may be able to resolve this by detaching and reattaching the database. Instructions to detach are in the Knowledgebase article:
http://kb.Sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/Sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1462...

The database will reattach when you open it in ACT!.

I have t he same issues to which you replied in 2013.  However, I can not access ACTDIAG to detach the database as I get the error that the database login failed for use 'sa'  Your link also goes to an old SAGE page by the way.  Any thought on a workaround for the ACTDIAG login issue?  I've fond nothing of value in the ACT KB

Thanks
