link note to multiple companies - 2011

Is it possible to link notes to multiple companies?

Sure... open the Note and click "Share With" ... add the Companies you want it shared with :-)

when I try that, ACT locks up.  Do you know if I should change any settings before attempting?  Thanks, Telly

At what step does it lock up?
Does it lock up if you try in the demo database?
What build of ACT! from Help | About?

I'm in ACT! 2011 Pro.  It locks up when I click on the "share with" button.  Same thing happens in demo database.  Right when I click on link to right of share with "...."  ACT locks up.

Demo as well?

Can you bring up task Manager and see if anything running?
Open Windows Error Logs (Start | Run | Eventvwr | Enter)
See if any error
