I install the ACT! 2013 on all PC in my office, unfortunately, one laptop had an issue when running ACT! 2013. The installation process is done well but when i start ACT!, the program is just "not responding". I tried to re-install but it doesn't work after all.
Anyone can help me with this issue

What is the full version of your ACT!2013 pro? what is your operating system? Windows 7 pro? etc?
Do you have all your Windows Updates in place? such as .net 4 framework and sql server 2008 etc?
Then if yes, have you applied most recent Service Pak and hotfix?

My ACT is the ACT! Pro 2013 SP1, and my Laptop's OS is the windows 7 Ultimate. I am not sure that i have the lastest Net 4 framework and sql server 8 or not but I still install the hotfix as your recomemdation. but it's still has the same issue: the ACT still "not responding" when I attempt to run it.
One thing, when I install the ACT! it promted something like i dont have the default email program, but my Outlook office is already the default email client on my laptop. do you think it is the problem?

Possible suggestions? Just guessing a bit. Still dont know your overall environment? total number of pc's in your network?
Is your UAC Turned off ? ( turn it off thru control panel ) User acconts / Changes uac settings etc..
Look to see what is different from the problemed pc than the other pc's.
Not sure what you are using for antivirus/firewall, but also recommend you turn it off when doing this sort of install work.
Are you creating Remote Databases?
Please include any and all complete error message information in your forum post.
Your service pak1 hotfix3? prob will not install correctly if you do not have the pre-reqs installed.
Look in your control panel / programs and features
Look for items similar to
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 something
Microsoft .net framework 4 something
Manually check for windows updates also to confirm.
If above items are installled, then re-apply the 2013 svc pak1 hotfx3?

I am not able to help without the full information about your system. Such as your COMPLETE version of ACT!2013?
EX: HERE IS THE COMPLETE VERSION OF MY ACT2011 Sage ACT! Pro 2011 Version 126.96.36.199, Hot Fix 6
ACT!2013 will not work with Office/outlook2013 unless you meet this criteria BELOW.
