how to get % in reports, ACT 2009 v11.1

I am currently developing a report to show the total number of opportunity product sales by employee for a random date range using the opporunities section.

The report so far sorts by employee in section 1 header, Section 2 header brings up the product group or type using the "Product Name" field, Detail section is blank as I dont need every individual product listed,  Section 2 footer shows the total number of products for that product type and section 1 footer shows total number of products overall.

basically it looks like this for at the moment

Employee : Joe Bloggs

Scarfs

total products 2

Hats

total products 1

Total Products  3

What I want to try and show is the % of each product type in relation to the overall number of products so it shows

Employee : Joe Bloggs

Scarfs

total products 2                  66.67%

Hats

total products 1                  33.33%

Total Products 3                 100%

Its basically a Key Performance Indicator report to get an idea of what our employees are selling.

I hope this is easy to understand.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What you want can be done but it requires embedded VB script programming in the template.

Ok thanks for the reply Roy.

I have no idea how to do that so may have to do more digging unless anyone can give me an example as a place to start.  I do know abit of VB but this maybe out of my range unless I have something to go off.

Cheers.

The scripts involved would not be difficult, typically simple If statements, the main problem if where to place them based on the specific report template. Most report templates are specific to the database and not universal.
