I have created a custom contact layout on the cloud version of ACT, how would i get this to show on the desktop version?

If you have created a remote database from the Act Cloud database it will be included in the remote database. If you have already created a remote database, if you sync the remote database with the Act Cloud it should sync.
Alterntively contact Act Support and they will sort out the layouts for you.
