I have a client with an ACT! 2005 Db. The problem is, they only have one user to connect to the Db with as that one has no password, and the other's do. They don't know the other passwords. But this user is not an adminstator and as such cannot backup or copy the Db so I can move it to the server.
How can I elevate this user to an admin?

You would nave to log into the database as an administrator. Repair service can reveal the the user accounts and passwords.

Thanks, I got past this point and found everybodies passwords. Now I just have to figure out how to set up a shared Db. But I'll put that in a different thread.
