Ive just installed ACT pro 2013, but the phone numbers are coming up in USA (000) 000-00000 and I need to change the format to UK ? help please :-)

act! is using the USER-Country as default for new contacts. So if you create a new contact in act, and this is autoassigned to USA, then you probably did not set the country in your "my Contact" as soon you defined the country in your contact, all new contacts will be auto-assigned to the same country.

when you open act, it starts with your user record
there you must select in the country United Kingdom, or what ever your OS is giving you as the name for your country.
if your entry in Country differes from what windows is showing as country, then act will allways display +1
the following link shows how to ajust Windows country to ACT country
and btw, if you are using a phone system with Tapi, you might want to consider Dial-it, this will allow you also to identify incoming calls and pop the contact.
