I get the following error in when I try to open my database please help!
"The database xxx could not be accessed. In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify your database server is available. It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your computer or the server."
This is a local installation and

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. For this issue, please see KB Article 19640. For a local database, the most likely cause is the SQL Server not running. In the KB article, you will see this as the 7th item in the list of possible causes.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
