deleting multiple reoccurring activities

I have multiple reoccurring activities that I would like to erase/delete, is there an easier way than doing each one individually.

Currently I open, select all occurances - delete.

Thanks

Re: deleting multiple reoccurring activities

When you go to delete a reoccuring activity you should be prompted to either a) delete just this instance or b) delete all occurrences.

Re: deleting multiple reoccurring activities

Thanks for the reply;

What I am trying to do it delete reoccurring events for a number of contacts.

The only way I have found to do it is one at time.

Click delete & click multiple all occurrences .

I have about 50 of these to do and was looking for a faster way than doing them individually

I also need to do this frequently because ACT keeps creating duplicates of recurring events.

Has anyone found a solution?

Re: deleting multiple reoccurring activities

ACT! by itself won't create duplicate resurring activities unless you're syncing your ACT! activities with Outlook.

Re: deleting multiple reoccurring activities

The duplicates seem to come from just one user.

But contrary to your suggestion, I don't see any indication that ACT calendars are syncing with Outlook or Google.

Checking Sage ACT! Integration Service history for Outlook and Google shows no activity.  Further, neither service is set-up on any computer.

I don't know if there is any other way to establish Outlook of Google calendar sync with ACT.  Perhaps from within the Google or Outlook software?

Could the duplicates possibly be generated by syncing with an iPhone?

We use CompanionLink Pro but it's not set up to sync ACT with Outlook -- just the iPhones.  And CL is only used on the main db computer, not the computer of the 'problem'' user.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
