I am having problems sharing my database. Act is loaded onto a Windows 7 professional (64bit) machine.
The version is 18.104.22.168
The database opens fine and can be used normally but I would like to share the database with a second computer.
To do this I open Act, click on the open/share database icon on the toolbar, a window is displayed showing the demo database plus the database that I would like to share. I click on the 'share' button at the left of the database and up comes a logon window which I duly complete but when I click OK an error message comes up saying 'There was a problem shareing/unsharing your Sage ACT! database. The path is not of a legal form'.
The path is C:\users\user1\Documents\new work\ACTShare\Database
