cyber query not connecting to ACT!

cyber query not connecting to ACT!

Greetings!!!

I am using cyber query to report against ACT! database.but I couldnt connect to ACT! database.COuld any one help me to connect to ACT by cyber query reporting tool

You would need to access the ACT! database through the OLEDB interface, however, that does not provide access to the activity table.

Activities are very complex and development chose to not reveal the activity table via OLEDB.

Having no familiarity with Cyberquery, I don't know. Possibly if you purchased the SA password for the ACT! instance of MSSQL.

I realize this is an old posting but thought I would respond anyway in case you still have this requirement.

 

Cyberquery has the ability to connect to most databases using ODBC or native SQL drivers.  If you have an ODBC driver for the ACT! database then it should be straightforward to connect using Cyberquery and start reporting against the database.

 

You may want to contact your Cyberscience support department; they would be best resource to help with any specifics.
