Our company is currently using ACT! 6 and we are thinking about upgrade it to ACT! 2009. But we want to make sure our several products and order related spreadsheets files (excel, lotus, openoffice) can be imported into ACT!. Does ACT! 2009 support user defined database and fields besides contacts and group record type, especailly for products and order records?
If yes, where can I find how? If not, any other idea about how to get the data in?
Does anyone know any info about it? Thanks in advance.

ACT! has the option to import from Outlook, DBF and text delimited files (cvs/txt) as contacts, groups or companies.
I would consider that you contact a local ACT! Certified Consultant to help you through the migration process.
