customing layout problem

customing layout problem

I'm a new user to ACT trying to customize a contact layout design.  Everytime I save my changes I receive an error message and the database shuts down.  Anybody know how to fix this?

Check to see if you have 'Microsoft .net 2.0 (Service Pack 1)' installed. I would hazard a guess as -> yes!

 

If so, this is known issue for which there is not resolution. There is a work-a-round however.

You will need to remove 'Microsoft .net 2.0 (Service Pack 1)' and install the previous version ''Microsoft .net 2.0'.
