Re: convert back to 2009

Hello cmugan,

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. Unfortunately, like most databases, an ACT! database cannot be converted down. Your only option is restore the latest backup of your ACT! 2009 database made prior to converting it to 2010.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Re: convert back to 2009

I had to do this with a user, and "downgrading" is not an option.  What we did is to export as much as possible, then import into a 2009 db.  The user lost a few Notes and History, but since it was a trial, he had not entered a huge amount.  Good luck...

It's tricky, but I've done this with a combination of itExport and itImport ... as you would only need to do this once, you'd be best off getting an ACT! Consultant who has their own versions of these to do it for you.
