com class id error

hi

can you help me pls

have verison 10.02

office sp3

when clicked on email from act

using outlook as email client

comes up with error

Retrieving the COM class factor for component with CLSID
{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}failed due to the following error:
80080005.
happens also

when act email is selected

and word processor is selected

I know it could be because of the .dll file not registered

did a search for the clsid  in the registry

but doesnt come up with any .dll file

other than location of key in outlook folder in registry

how to pick up that .dll file

and how to register that dll file properly

many thanks in advance

I don't think this one is an unregistered DLL...

Try: Click Start | Run | dcomcnfg to open Component Services.
Expand Component Services | Computers | My Computer | DCOM Config | Microsoft Word Document.
Right-click on Microsoft Word Document and select Properties.
Click on the Identity tab and change to "This User" - select an admin user

Same for Outlook

I might also be an anti-virus or anti-spyware interfering when installing the patch... it's always better to do installs in Windows Selective Startup mode.
If that doesn't help, what operating system?
