Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. Once you have you lookup selected, go to the main menu and select Edit/Replace Field. This allows you to change the value of a single field for multiple records. The important thing here is to make sure you have an active lookup as this function affects all the contacts in the current lookup.
Note: If you are using ACT! 2010 and do not see the Record Manager field available in the Edit/Replace dialog box, then you will need to apply the ACT! 2010 SP1 update to resolve this issue
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

I am using Sage ACT! Premium (Web) 2011 Version 184.108.40.206, Hot Fix 2
when I try do Edit/Replace Field, I am not able to find Record Manager, Please advise.

I am having issues. I did an active lookup for companies I would like to change the Record Manager on. As per your direction, I went to Edit/Replace Field and selected "Record Manager" from the drop-box. Unfortunately after selected the "Record Manager", the "Value" box grays out and does not allow me to enter in a different value. Any suggestions? Your assistance would greatly be appreciated.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I stil don't have "record manger" in the drop down under "replace field".
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Have to update 1000's of contacts.
