change multiple country code

Hi,

In a database we have a lot of contacts with bad country code in phone fields (because country codes were not displayed and we did not use mobile app), so the mobile app syncing with Act! get the phone number and the bad country code. When we change the country code manually, it works. I only want to know if it is possible, for a lookup, to change all country codes on phone fields. I already tried to do this with copy/swap/replace function, as for phone format changing but it does not work.

What version of ACT! are you using? goto Help About to get complete version info. FSB

Without knowing EXACTLY how your country codes got corrupted in first place, makes it tough for anyone to safely advise you.

Always backup your ACT! db before making major changes to your db.

Have you tried this?

ACT! - Tools - Preferences - General Tab?

 Remove the check in the box to display country codes, Click OK, go back in and then put check back in the box.

 also to the Right of each Phone fields is a little square box, click that to set desired format

Thanks for your help Bill.

I always do a backup before beginning, but here I am testing on a demo database.

I do not think my country codes are corrupted, when I change it manually on a phone field (as you said before, with the little square box), it is ok when I come back on this contact : the country code is the good one now. My problem is to change the country code for 10000 contacts...
