cannt attach files when doing email mail merge, ACT 2011Pro and Outlook

I just learned and got it confirmed with Tech Support that there is a 'defect' in ACT which does not allow one to attach files when performing a Mail Merge via email. In the mail merge wizard, the 'button' for attaching files cannot be highlighted or 'energized' to be used and therefore one cannot attach files.

 

Please advise at to when this may be expected to be corrected. Thank you.

I had a similar problem, did you try to change your settings?

you have to allow the ACT to attach files to the database I think.
