hey fellow ACTivists,
Just upgraded my hardware & have reinstalled my ACT & my data
everything is working fine , however when I click on ACT UPDATE , system tells me"
"You do not have permission to download the updates. You must be a windows administrator."
Well, I am the only user on this computer & i AM the administrator ?
I need to do this update, so that I can resume SYNCHING with a remote pc.
thanks in Advance

When you start ACT! right click on it and select run as administrator.

Actually you're not running as the administrator unless you have disabled the User Access Control (UAC). this came in with Vista and contunues with Windows 7 and 8.
