can't import contacts from csv - Act.Framework.DataExchange.OutlookSync Version=11.1.183.0

Getting the following error every time our admin tries to import a csv file into the master Version 11.1.183.0, Hotfix 1 db. My stand alone remote db works fine.

 

Could not load file or assembly ‘ACT.Framework.DataExchange.OutlookSync, Version=11.1.183.0,

Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=ebf6b2ff4d0a08aa’ or one of its

Dependencies. Attempt to access invalid address. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800701E7)

 

Any clue as to what's going on?

The error message does not make a lot of sense if you are importing from a CSV file into the contacts area of ACT.

 

Only thought is that somehow ACT is trying to update linked records in Outlook at the same time as you are doing the import into ACT.

 

Try 2 things.

 

If you have ACT and Outlook linked via sync disconnect this part via the wizard while you do the import.

 

In Excel change the CSV file to an Excel file and try and import that to see if you get the same error.
