.adt files

When I create a document for merging, everything is formatted properly.  However, when I send out a merged document all apostrophes appear as boxes.  How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: .adt files

Jeff,

From your message you are using Word and I would say that you need to go back and change the font as I would suggest it is in the translation during the merge. Change it to something like Times Roman and if this works then it is a font issue

Hi,

It was orginally in Times New Roman, so I tried both Arial and Garamond; same thing still happens.

Re: .adt files

What version of ACT! are you using? If it is ACT! 6 then delete the file normal.dot and DO NOT modify the default font that Word uses with the recreated normal.dot.
