adjusting column in daily calendar view to show phone numbers

I have Act 2011, I have been able to view in the right side column the names, phone numbers and regarding in the daily calendar view.  My coworker adjusted my computer views on the desktop and now the column I can not make wider, it just goes back to same width it is currently and only part of the name shows.  PLEASE HELP!!!!  I use that column to make my calls each day and have to go into each contact to get their number for now.  The column and highlighted with the black box around it and the black outlined arrow pointing at it.

Re: adjusting column in daily calendar view to show phone numbers

I had already done that.  However I had resolved it by changing my resolution to one lesser than recommended and then daving it, then going to ACt and strecthing the side bar at least half way across the screen and it came back to how i originally had it.  Then changed the resolution back and it now stays where i used to have it set at.   thank you all for your help and knowledge of ACT.

If you shrink the left hand NAV bar (the double arrow in the "Calendar" tag in your example image), that should let you grab and expand the right hand pane. no?

I did do that and it just goes back to the same width it just was, it did stay whereever I put it before, but not anymore.

Perhaps there is something wrong with your ACT! preferences...  (Just a wild guess.)

Do a search in the forums on "preferences" and see what you come up with.

It sounds like the montior display settings were changed, try setting them back to default: KB Article 21042

Greg -

Doesn't sound like the mini calendar issue.

When a user resizes panes in a view, how does that placement get written so that it is remembered?

Perhaps a permissions issue of some kind?

What version of Windows are we on again?

Windows 7 (64-Bit) using Act 2011 64-bit

It does seem to have a tie to changes with the Appearance and Personalization.  Would having the computer go back to a previous date change those changes that the coworker did on my computer?

I would ask the coworker to try and 'un-do' the changes they made.
