have a couple of issues
1) act version 10.01 and office 2007
no integration issues
can see act in outlook
add-ins are there
but when tried to write a letter
"please ensure both act and outlook are run with administrative privileges"
" the information store could not open "
tested it on demo - same error
on act email error : act email has encountered a problem
when tried to register the redemption.dll - error : the module redemption.dll failed to load
make sure the binary is stored at specific path or debug ...."
2) act 10.02 and outlook 2003 sp3 update
integration problems with the address book
error : the act address book is not properly configured or the database is locked
when tried to test it on demo
it still references to original database
tried completely removing
re adding the address book
unticking and ticking on act- extensions
when outlook is opened on its own after deleting the address book
it comes up with the above error
"the act address book is not configured ....................."
registered the redemption.dll thru cmd
but no use
any suggestions greatly appreciated asap pls

I have the same problem - (Im running Vista) ACT 10.01 and Outlook 2007 ---- ACT asks me to make sure I have "run as administrator privelges" (in both ACT and Outlook -- (which I belive I do)
How do I resolve this ???

Windows Vista has tighter security built into the OS. Even though you may have adminitrator rights, it may not be enabled when running a program. In order to run Act in administrator mode, right click on your program and choose the "Run as Administrator" Option.

I have ACT running as Admin ... I dont see an option to run Outook (2007) as admin... although I am logged onto the PC as Admin
(again I am running Vista - ACT 10.09 Prem and Outlook 2007) ---
When trying to Email from Act....an error message
"please ensure both act and outlook are run with administrative privileges" occurs
What a Mystery.....this is - I have had the ACT & Outlook working fine a few days ago, then ran into this problem yesterday, and still not working this morning......right now as I test the email while I write this post --- Abra-ca-dabra ---- the email is working fine with no error message....
The Question is -- will this problem re-occur, and how do I avoid that....
All help is appreciated.....

My issuse is intermitant....yesterday many times when I tried to email (Outlook 2007) it 'hung' and then came up with the admin error......then sometimes it would work perfectly.....sometimes I would close outlook and the message comes up perfectly....then I go to re-open Outlook and it hangs and never opens.......
Anyone experience this or have a cure???
